Yellow Hat: Thinking

The Yellow Hat symbolises brightness and optimism. Under this hat you explore the positives and probe for value and benefit.

Positives
What were the good points?
What did you find helpful?
What did you like the most?
Some choose to stand rather than sit.
Our question today, after reading about Robert the Rose Horse, was:
What if animals lived like people?

Using the yellow hat list the positives if animals were like people, using the black hat list the negatives, and using the green hat think about the changes we would need to make about the way we lived (bring in new ideas).

The Black Hat is judgment - the devil's advocate or why something may not work. Spot the difficulties and dangers; where things might go wrong. Probably the most powerful and useful of the Hats but a problem if overused.

The Green Hat focuses on creativity; the possibilities, alternatives, and new ideas. It's an opportunity to express new concepts and new perceptions.

Fruit Salad Game in S6

S6 playing the fruit salad game, with lots of laughter and encouragement.

Remember to keep those knees down so that they don't get knocked off.
Great running boys, very competitive. Good listening needed for this activity.
Teams need reminding to shout for and encourage the person on their team.

What's Happening in the Garden?

We had a large swan plant this year with over 50 monarch caterpillars making it their home. They didn't take long to strip it. Now have quite a few chrysalis in varying places and some very fat caterpillars.

Matt gave us our miniature pear trees last xmas and they are both full of fruit this year -and growing well in the hot summer conditions we have had.

Lemons growing well.
